Akana Designs is now offering a restoration and touch-up service to contractors, designers and homeowners. Not to be confused with refinishing furniture, restoration and touch-up is the art of minimizing defects, such as scratches; deep gouges; chipped edges; etc. with the state the of the art products. Our philosophy is that most surface defects can be corrected to the point of being barely noticeable. These repairs can be made on site and in a timely manner. As a cabinet and furniture shop, we recognize that by the end of the job, a variety of damage can occur. More often than not, the person or shop that applied the original finish, is not equipped to execute a quality repair. This service helps alleviate some of the anxiety associated with installing and living with fine cabinets and furniture.
